how sleyte was born.

some brands are planned. sleyte wasn't.

it started with another idea — defy normal. a brand we believed in, built from the ground up. then came the trademark opposition, and just like that, the door closed. we could have stopped there. instead, we started again.

that restart wasn't a setback. it was a clean slate.

and that's exactly where the name came from. clean slate — the idea of wiping everything back to zero and rebuilding with more intention. we couldn't use those words, but we didn't need to. we took slate and made it ours. we rewrote it. sleyte.

the name carries the moment. it's not in any dictionary. it doesn't need to be. it's built from two worlds, two people, two cultures. eri from brazil, gaz from the uk. the references in the graphics, the attitude in the cut, the silence in the details. that's where both worlds live.

our tagline — identity is the only luxury — isn't a marketing line. it's a belief. knowing who you are is worth more than what you own. your culture and your roots are your real currency. self-expression isn't a trend, it's the foundation.
